Generating Answer Drafts

To generate an answer with AI assistance:

1. Select the question you wish to answer in your question outline.
2. In the right-hand panel, click the Generate with AI button.
3. Optionally, type brief bullet points or source notes you want the assistant to include.
4. Click Create Draft.
5. The assistant synthesizes your project background, requirements, and key points into a polished draft within seconds.

Refining & Iterating on Drafts

Once an initial draft is generated, you can refine it to perfection:

• Manual Editing: Click anywhere in the text editor to adjust words, numbers, or tone directly. Manual editing and typing never consume credits.
• AI Rewriting & Polish: Highlight specific sentences and instruct the assistant to “Make it more concise”, “Add quantifiable outcomes”, or “Strengthen the impact section”.
• Formatting: Add headings, bullet points, and numbered lists to ensure maximum readability for grant evaluators.

Version History & Restoring Previous Drafts

Kilavuz automatically keeps track of every draft variation:

• Click Version History above the answer editor to view timestamps and earlier iterations.
• If you prefer an earlier version, restore it with a single click or copy specific paragraphs into your current response.
• Your thought process and earlier ideas are always securely preserved.

Credit Usage Transparency

Before launching an AI generation, Kilavuz displays the estimated credits required. Credits are deducted only upon successful draft generation; reading, editing, saving, or copying your answers is always completely free.
